MARIE SEGUY

When Marie Seguy talks about her jewels, she describes their creation using the vocabulary of fashion: the theme of a collection, the color range and sampling, the choice of materials, etc. Created on a mannequin, her jewelry goes through many “fittings” before receiving the finishing touches. The scarf-like pearl collar that has been her biggest success falls onto the bust like a garment, in an interplay of rolls, knots and free-hanging strands.
