DRAGOVAN
Laurent Jardin was born in 1973 and studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
Before devoting himself to fashion, he experimented with several different activities. From 1993 to 1997 he worked in screen printing in collaboration with artists like Speedy Graphito, Kiki Picasso and Eric Seydou. He worked as an illustrator for the magazines Dazed and Confused and The Face, designed record album covers and created drawings for animated films, all the while continuing to paint and work in the theater. In May 2000, Jardin participated in the design of the mostly-leather costumes for Olivier Dahan’s film version of Tom Thumb.
