Native from Galicia, Vicente Rey studied in Barcelona and moved to Paris where he developed his shoes expertise thanks to his training with the shoemaker Aris.

Always willing to experiment new directions, Vicente Rey’s creations are driven by his constant research of materials, forms, volumes and balance.

Vicente Rey’s work is rewarded by the ANDAM Fashion Award in 2003 and he won the “Paris Capitale de la Creation” Prize in 2005.

In 2005, MIDEC chose Vicente Rey to embody the shoe creation and present an overview of his work. This exhibition offered him the opportunity to develop his first Men collection.

After many years showing his collections at MIDEC and PREMIERE CLASSE, Vicente Rey opened a boutique-atelier in Paris.

From Barcelona where he lives, Vicente Rey pursues the crafts creation of tailor-made models, for both Women and Men, globally.
